1. Sealift — Pre-Assembled Modules

  • Modules are fully assembled and finished at our Kanata facility, then loaded for sealift shipping
  • Modules are stacked on the vessel at the same density and in the same configuration they will occupy in the finished building — so the ship is, in effect, carrying a pre-assembled structure that is simply lifted into place on site
  • On arrival, modules are craned directly from vessel to foundation, minimizing on-site construction time and trades requirements

2. Road/Rail Flat-Pack — On-Site Assembly

  • For sites accessible by road/rail but not by sealift, the structural envelope and all interior components are shipped flat-pack on standard trucks/trains — no wide loads, no special permits
  • SSi Defence acts as project manager, ensuring on-site installation and commissioning is carried out according to our design specifications by qualified local and regional contractors
  • The factory-built nature of both the envelope and the interior assemblies means the on-site build cycle is significantly faster than traditional methods, regardless of how remote the location
